Their services

As a service user in different sectors (revenue, housing, employment,  health and social services, protective status/tutorship,  addictions, etc.), you have rights

  • Right to contest forced treatment in an institution (closed treatment) and forced restraints, abusive measures
  • Right to adequate services
  • Right to be informed on the state of your health status, your treatment, your medication, etc.
  • Right to be accompanied and assisted
  • Right to the respect of professional secrecy and to the confidentiality of personal information
  • Right to access your file (medical or social service)
  • Right to clear and informed consent
  • Right to the respect of your privacy
  • Other rights in other legal areas
  • Recourses towards community organizations or health and social service establishments, commissioner of complaints, professional accreditation bodies, Human Rights Commission, Commission des affaires sociales (welfare, CSST, etc..) Access to information commission, administrative courts, du Centre régional de la sécurité du revenu et de la Régie du logement.
