Write to usBreaks the isolation of loved ones of murdered or missing persons through various activities and personalized support.
The Association of Families of Persons Assassinated or Missing (AFPAD) offers compassionate, confidential, and free support to loved ones in Quebec affected by the disappearance or murder of a family member. Far from focusing solely on the judicial aspect, AFPAD intervenes from the earliest moments of a disappearance and throughout the entire process, taking into account the specific needs of each family.
Among its services, AFPAD provides psychosocial support, active listening, and information on police, legal, or administrative procedures. It also offers support groups, themed workshops, and commemorative activities that break isolation and foster mutual support among families facing similar realities.
Reaching out to AFPAD means finding a space for listening, support, and hope — where families no longer face the unthinkable alone.
